Refund Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains when you can get your money back for a course fee or the registration fee, and how to ask. It does not limit any rights you have under the law.

1. Course fees

  • You can get a full refund of a course fee if you ask within 7 days of the payment date and you have not opened any lesson in that course.
  • After 7 days, or once you have opened a lesson, the course fee is not refundable.
  • Opening a lesson means viewing it, downloading its materials, or starting its quiz or assignment in the Student Portal. You can check your activity under My Courses.

2. Registration fee

The one-time registration fee (NLe 550) covers a T-shirt, ID card and wrist band. It is not refundable once those items have been issued to you. If you have not received them and you contact us, we will review the request fairly case by case.

3. When you are always entitled to a refund or correction

  • Duplicate payment: if you were charged twice for the same item, we will refund the extra payment.
  • Payment taken but enrolment not shown: we will verify it with the payment provider and either activate your enrolment or refund you.
  • If PCTIH cancels a course or cannot deliver it, you may choose a refund of the course fee or a transfer to another course.

4. How to request a refund

  • Email peopleschoicet@gmail.com or call 079 468 780 / 074 180 515.
  • Include your full name, the email on your account, the payment reference (shown under Payments in the Student Portal), the course name, and the reason.
  • We will confirm whether the request is approved and tell you the next steps.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method or mobile money number through our payment provider, Monime, where possible. The time it takes to reach you depends on Monime, your bank or your mobile money operator. We cannot refund to a different person or account without proof of ownership.

6. Failed or pending payments

If a payment shows as failed, you have not been enrolled and you should not have been charged. If money left your account but the Student Portal still shows pending or failed, do not pay again. Contact us with the payment reference first. See also our Terms of Service.
